Helen Bowden is MD of Orphans Press, commercial printers, and eighteen73, a creative branding and campaigns agency, both based in Leominster and employing 30 staff. A marketing graduate, she is a proud Herefordian, is married with two adult children and has played a prominent part in coaching and administering youth and senior netball across the county for the last 20 years.

In 2025-26 Helen served as High Sheriff of Herefordshire, a role which brought her close to the voluntary sector, particularly those helping young people facing challenging situations including financial hardship, addictions, homelessness or mental health problems. She has worked closely with charities and council services across the county but with Leominster as a particular focus.

David Pritchard is a recently retired qualified accountant, who has worked in a number of senior commercial finance director roles, across a variety of industries over his career, both in the UK and overseas. David has also provided financial assistance to a number of charities. He is married with two adult children and has lived in Herefordshire for over 16 years. David has witnessed the impact of addiction within the family and is aware of its long-term consequences. He strongly believes in the importance of providing support to young people and to adults experiencing difficult social circumstances and financial need.

Katie Eastaugh is the CEO of the Herefordshire Charity The Cart Shed, which she co-founded in 2011. The Cart Shed is a mental health and wellbeing charity that works with children from the age of 10 and adults of any age attending its core therapeutic programmes. The charity also offers holiday club activities and team building sessions for children, schools and businesses.

Katie has worked in the charity sector for over 25 years. Prior to that she ran her own business, been company secretary to a small nutraceutical company and worked for the local authority promoting crafts business and the creative industries in Herefordshire. She is married with two teenage children.

Sarah De Rohan, J.P. was born in Shropshire and educated there and in Staffordshire but has lived in Herefordshire since 2005. She is actively involved with Herefordshire Historic Trust, St John’s Ambulance, Birley PCC and with Birley and Upper Hill as a Councillor. She is a magistrate at Hereford Bench, serving the Adult and Youth Courts and is a Trustee of the Herefordshire Community Foundation.

Sarah also had the great privilege of serving Herefordshire as High Sheriff 2022-23 and being appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant of the County in 2024.

Sarah Melia has worked with young people, through a variety of roles in the Public, Private and Charity sectors since starting her career as a Volunteer Youth Worker in Leominster over 20 years ago.

Happiest when delivering group work activities, Sarah puts her Youth Work experience and qualifications into practice, delivering sessions on a variety of topics, currently focused on healthy relationships and child exploitation prevention.

Sarah is a Leominster Town Councillor, with a special interest in advocating for improvements to youth facilities and availability of youth provision locally and is an active member of Herefordshire Women’s Equality Group, campaigning to end male violence against women and girls and increase the representation of women in local democracy.

Leominster is Sarah’s home town and she wants everyone who shares it with her to thrive!
